Dave Eastgate has spent 30 years in almost every corner of entertainment. For the last twenty, he’s been the person keeping studio audiences alive on Australian Idol, The Voice, The X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent.
Off the TV floor, he hosted Fanland at The Star Brisbane for NRL Magic Round, MC’d the 50th anniversary Sunbury Festival, hosted Jim Beam Island in Fiji with the Hoodoo Gurus and Jimmy Barnes, and co-hosted the Casting Guild of Australia Awards.
He’s also a stand-up who has headlined clubs and festivals around the world, performed comedy in fluent Japanese at Universal Studios Japan, and acted in Netflix’s Territory, Prime Video’s Deadloch and The Mark opposite Jessica Alba. He holds an Equity Award for The Moodys.
